
About Muhammad Pirzada
Muhammad Siddique Ali Pirzada is a final-year LL.B. (Hons.) candidate at the University of London, set to complete his Bachelor of Laws. He is an alumnus of Repton School Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he achieved the highest global result in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), securing a perfect score of 12/12 Distinctions (D* D*).
Dedicated to advancing legal education, he has served as Managing Editor of the Legal Education and Access Portal (LEAP) and as President of the Study Circle Society, leading initiatives that promote critical legal discourse, mentorship, and academic enrichment. He is also a member of the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG), contributing to global discussions on Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.
In his first year of law school, he competed as an Oralist in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where he was ranked among the Top 10 Advocates in the preliminary rounds, an exceptional distinction for a first-year student. His major scholarly portfolio includes publications in the Harvard International Law Journal, University of Cambridge International Law Journal, University of Oxford Middle East Review, University of Oxford Politics Blog, Georgetown Journal of International Law, Cornell Journal of Law & Public Policy, UC Berkeley Journal of International Law, South Asia Foresight Network and the Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration (CIICA). He is also a regular columnist for leading national media outlets in Pakistan, writing on Public Policy, Comparative Law, and International Affairs.
In recognition of his academic leadership and contributions to legal scholarship, he is named “The 21-Year-Old Legal Maverick” by International Personalities (2024). His published work has been relied upon by the Lahore High Court, the International Centre for Peace Studies (ICPS), Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, The International Journal of Human Society, and the International Science Council.
He has worked with several of the region’s foremost legal internships including Al Tamimi & Company (DIFC) in the Dispute Resolution and International Litigation Department; Bhandari Naqvi Riaz, where he worked on Constitutional Law and Arbitration; and Mohsin Tayebaly & Co., where he gained experience in Commercial Litigation, Corporate Advisory, Governance, and Media & Entertainment Law. He also served as a Judicial Intern to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, assisting with complex constitutional and regulatory research. Beyond traditional legal practice, He has developed interdisciplinary expertise at the intersection of law, technology, and governance. As a Research Assistant at The Millennium Project, he contributed to regional studies on Artificial Intelligence, Foreign Policy, and Legislative Affairs across South Asia.
