Icelis Global, represented by its Founder and CEO, Elena Athwal, was privileged to participate in a high-level panel discussion focused on rural areas, sustainability and energy.
The event, co-hosted by The Al-Attiyah Foundation and Qatar Museums, at Qatar Preparatory School as part of the “Countryside: A Place to Live, Not to Leave” Exhibition, provided an expert platform for exploring how climate resilience and energy transition are crucial for transforming rural communities and creating a more sustainable and livable countryside.

Moderated by renowned journalist Nawied Jabarkhyl, Head, International Media Relations at APCO, the discussions featured top experts, Howard Bevan, (Director of Energy, Al-Attiyah Foundation), Alan Gelder (Head of Downstream, Midstream, & Chemicals Research, Wood Mackenzie), and Dr. Gonzalo Castro de la Mata (Executive Director, Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, Qatar Foundation).

We applaud the Al-Attiyah Foundation and Qatar Museums for organizing this high-level event and recognizing the importance of countryside development in achieving energy transition and climate resilience across Qatar’s rural areas.

We remain committed to promoting climate-resilient initiatives, leveraging our experience in building and implementing ESG compliance and reporting to support effective climate change mitigation.
