The Africa AI Stakeholder meeting 2025 was an absolute success with brilliant opening remarks from Florida Kabasinga, Founder and Executive Director, Certa Foundation, Rwanda, and Armando Guio Español, Executive Director, Global Network of Centers, USA.

Day 1 featured an excellent Keynote Address from Dr. Ololade Shyllon, Director, Privacy Policy, Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey, Meta, Nigeria. It also discussed insights and perspectives on AI governance in Africa and innovative approaches to governance and infrastructure resilience.
Day 2 featured a Keynote Address on Africa’s Pivotal Role in Shaping Global AI Futures delivered by Nonye Ujam, Director, Government Affairs, Microsoft, West Africa. It also featured a proposed panel for regulatory learning and experimentation and interactive workshops for developing practical mechanisms, capacity building models, and multi-stakeholder coordination frameworks for supporting AI implementation.
The event was an exceptional platform for furthering the dialogue on AI education and awareness across the African continent.
