ICELIS Global was a proud participant during the Africa AI Stakeholder Meeting 2025 in Accra Ghana held on September 30 – October 1, 2025 with dialogue focusing on Africa’s collective approach to AI governance and capacity development.
In furtherance of this incredible commitment, ICELIS partnered with event conveners, The Center for Law and Innovation, and the Global Network of Centers and other conference partners to publish the policy brief titled “From Inclusivity to Implementation: Charting Africa’s Sovereign AI Future”.
The brief embodies the two focused engagements held during the event:
The Regulators’ Workshop – Practical AI Governance Training for Regulators convened regulators, policymakers, ministry representatives, enforcement bodies, and implementation agencies to strengthen institutional capacity for AI oversight and responsible governance.
The Innovators’ Roundtable on Catalysing Scalable Innovation and AI-driven Growth in Africa brought together innovators, ecosystem builders, and entrepreneurs to explore pathways to scale AI solutions that address local challenges and unlock sustainable growth.
Once again, we appreciate the Center for Law and Innovation for their brilliant initiative and remain committed to furthering advancements in AI governance and technological innovation.
