
About Abeeb Mutalib
Abeeb Mutalib is a law graduate from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, with a strong focus on climate change, energy, and sustainable development. His undergraduate long essay explored the role of law in promoting renewable energy for sustainable development, complementing his contributions to scholarly publications in related fields. He has gained practical experience through roles such as Delegate at the University of Bedfordshire Centre for Sustainable Development Energy Transitions and Climate Change (CSDETCC)’s Advocacy and Social Action Development Programme (2025), Fellow at The Green Institute (2024), and Editor at the Lawrit Journal of Law. He is currently the coordinator of the Kwara State Green Cabinet Ministry under The Green Institute, where he leads community-based environmental projects. Abeeb also holds multiple certifications in human rights, climate change, energy transitions, and academic publishing from institutions including the UN University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability and Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University).
