About Dev Shroff
Dev Shroff is a high-achieving Computer Science student at The University of Texas at Austin, also pursuing a minor in Statistics and Data Science. With an expected graduation in May 2027, Dev has established himself as a versatile developer and entrepreneur with a particular interest in the intersection of finance and technology.
Dev is a Co-Founder at LuminTutor, an independent tutoring initiative where he is engineering a dynamic AI-driven platform to generate SAT practice questions. This platform enables personalized study paths to increase student engagement and performance. His technical expertise spans multiple programming languages, including Python, SQL, C++, and Java, as well as frameworks such as React.js and TensorFlow.
Dev’s portfolio is marked by innovative projects like Halipol Strategies, where he developed a Deep Q-Network Reinforcement Learning agent to optimize options trading, and Finatk, a suite of quantitative analysis tools for market intelligence. Outside of his technical ventures, he is an active leader within the Sustainable Building Initiative at UT Austin, directing research and development for real estate projects valued at over $20 million.
Passionate about leveraging AI and data analytics to solve complex industry problems, Dev holds several certifications from Google in Data Analytics and Project Management. He is excited to bring his blend of technical rigor and strategic thinking to his new role as an intern.
