About Emmy Watson

Emmy recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First-Class Integrated Masters in Environmental Science. During her studies, she completed two independent research projects focused on agronomy and sustainable land use, assessing the impact of regenerative farming practices on soil properties and subsequent crop growth. Through these projects, she developed strong skills in data analysis and interpretation, research design, report-writing, and communicating complex environmental issues.

She also participated in a research field trip in Abisko, Sweden, where data was collected as part of a long-term ecological experiment investigating the impacts of climate change on Arctic ecosystems. Her academic experience includes modules in climate change science and mitigation, environmental policy, statistics, and project management, providing a multidisciplinary perspective on sustainability challenges.

Emmy has a strong interest in applying environmental knowledge to real-world challenges, particularly through evidence-based decision making, sustainability strategy, and regulatory compliance. She is passionate about contributing to projects that improve the environment, protect vulnerable communities, foster climate resilience, and promote responsible development.

At ICELIS Global, Emmy looks forward to supporting the Technical team while further developing her understanding of ESG frameworks and the energy transition within the GCC region.
