About Sahithi Bhagavatula
Gwyneth Estomo is a student at Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) majoring in International Politics and minoring in History. She is also currently pursuing a certificate in Media and Politics. Aside from these disciplines, she is also drawn to the study of law to fortify her skills in the interpretation of policies and governance. Environmental law and policy has become a recent interest due to trends in sustainability actions and how it is integrated into the infrastructure of the global landscape.
During the summer of 2025, she concluded her research on the ecological recovery of the Black Sea after engaging in field work in Athens and the island of Andros in Greece as a part of an experiential learning programme with The Earth Commons, Georgetown University’s Institute for Environment and Sustainability.
She also travelled to Washington D.C. as a participant in the Women as Changemakers programme by GU-Q to analyse women’s roles in politics and history. Locally, she serves as the Admissions Marketing and Communications Student Assistant in GU-Q as she works to promote the university to prospective students. She also served as the Deputy Head of Communications for the Georgetown Model United Nations executive board where she led a press team and created multimedia records of the various conferences held by the university for high school students and university students alike.
With these experiences, Gwyneth hopes to collaborate with ICELIS Global as an intern to support the Policy Research and Media Departments in their goals.
