Dr. Khaled Al-Hamed

Dr. Khaled Al-Hamed, PhD, P.Eng., is an energy-transition specialist focused on hydrogen, carbon-capture and ammonia-based clean technologies. With over nine years of research and industrial experience, he has managed projects exceeding US$150 million, authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, and co-developed two U.S. patents in hydrogen systems. Currently a Process Engineer in Calgary, Canada, he leads design and analysis for large-scale CCUS projects in the oil & gas sector for multi-billion dollar clients. His previous roles at Mott MacDonald and SeeO2 Energy included advancing hydrogen-electrolyser system scale-up and supporting the deployment of a large e-fuels production facility in North America. Dr. Al-Hamed brings his expertise to Icelis Global’s mission of empowering organisations with actionable, sustainable solutions for the energy transition.
