Ogaga Odjugo is an early-stage legal professional with a strong foundation in energy law, sustainable development, and human rights. He holds a First-Class Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree from Afe Babalola University, where he excelled in various legal competitions, earning accolades such as the OGEES Prize for Best Student in both Oil and Gas Law and Environmental Law. Ogaga distinguished himself in moot court competitions, securing victories at the national and regional levels, notably achieving Best Counsel titles.

His scholarly contributions include publications in respected platforms such as the Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy, where he explores critical issues in petroleum law and sustainability. Ogaga further demonstrated his commitment to the intersection of law and technology through his writings on legal accountability in AI.
Professionally, Ogaga has amassed valuable experience as a Research Associate at the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development, where he played a pivotal role in elevating academic standards and shaping policy recommendations. He also served as a Graduate Trainee at Ajumogobia & Okeke, significantly contributing to complex litigation and regulatory advisory projects.

Ogaga’s leadership extends beyond academia and practice; he has successfully led teams as Chief Judge of the Law Students’ Society Judiciary at ABUAD and Head of Litigation at Jus Gentium Student Chambers. Additionally, he has been instrumental in advancing community-focused legal initiatives through his administrative role at the Tahir Mamman Law Clinic.
Currently pursuing qualification as a Barrister-at-law at the Nigerian Law School, Ogaga remains dedicated to advancing legal excellence and promoting sustainable, impactful governance.
