Moiz Maroof Ali is a Chartered Environmentalist and sustainability leader with a robust foundation in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy. He holds the LEED AP credential and is currently pursuing his PhD from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), specializing in renewable energy systems.

Moiz brings specialized expertise in managing high-value sustainability portfolios for major clients across Saudi Arabia and Qatar, including Giga urban developments, Mega infrastructure projects, and global events such as the FIFA World Cup. His professional track record includes delivering environmental and sustainability solutions across diverse sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, hydrogen energy, marine construction, aviation, and sports infrastructure.

With deep knowledge in ESG frameworks, Moiz has led the design and implementation of ESG strategies aligned with international standards including the Equator Principles (EP), IFC, CS3D, World Bank Standards, GRI, CSRD, and TCFD. He supports organizations in improving ESG governance, enhancing climate disclosures, and aligning with sustainable finance requirements to unlock capital and investment opportunities. His work spans emissions modeling, GHG tracking, sustainability performance benchmarking, and risk analysis tailored to both regulatory mandates and financing readiness.

At ICELIS Global, Moiz serves as a strategic advisor on projects related to sustainability analytics, emissions modeling, and ESG systems integration for clients navigating the transition to low-carbon operations.
